Boys Volleyball first round results
Comments 0 | Recommend 0No. 10 Deer Valley upset Brophy Prep 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23) to advance in the 5A/4A-I Boys Volleyball State Tournament Monday.
The Skyhawks (14-4) will travel to No. 2 Boulder Creek (20-0). First serve will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. That Jaguars swept the season series with Deer Valley, winning 3-0 and 3-1.
In other West Valley action, No. 5 Mesquite beat No. 12 Mountain Ridge, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-11) and No. 4 Catalina Foothills downed No. 13 Sunrise Mountain 3-1 (25-12, 25-13, 23-25, 25-15).
